If you haven’t yet, you should read these posts on The Stranger that my fiancé, Andy Haynes, is writing about the Occupy Wall Street protests. He’s been going down there on a daily basis which makes him smell like a freedom fighter, but it also makes him have some authority on the subject. 

“I don’t think Occupy Wall Street has grown out of the same kind of organization, resources, or advance planning [as the WTO in Seattle]. I also don’t think it’s affecting Wall Street, or New York, to the point where it’s forcing everyone to get involved in some manner or another.”
