an excerpt:
Meredith asks Derek if she should call the adoption counselor and he snarls “Do not call again, we’ve already called to much!” Wait are we still talking about a social worker? Or is this someone they want to have a three-way with? She asks him if they should even stay together. Derek: “We have a surgery, lets just focus on that.” I think that might be the first time I have heard that phrase uttered on this show. The titles flash on the screen followed by the words “created by Shonda Rimes.” Was Shonda like, “Lemme wait seven years to see if this show becomes a hit before I put my name on it.”
Thanks so much! Definitely will do.
Thank you, thank you, thank you! Sorry this is so late. Thanks, though! Great site!
There are no fewer than 9 songs called Kiss Me on Spotify at this moment. I am going to assume you meant the Sixpence None the Richer version and not that of Robbie Williams or Tiffany Thorton or Coral Springs Florida Punk Pop band, Newfound Glory (they are not Christian, apparently, though to me all Pop-punk sounds sorta christian). There’s only one Springtime for Hitler, but many versions. Wouldn’t it be great if there were several different songs with different messages with the same title? One would be from the Producers, and one would be sorta folky one, by The Mountain Goats? And one could be a ill-advised (get it?) Beastie Boys B-side.
Anyway, if those are my choices, I say go with Kiss Me. But, if those songs are in your wheelhouse, I would encourage you to tackle something more challenging. Perhaps Lovefool by The Cardigans? Just remember to conserve your energy and then really let ‘er rip when it gets to the chorus. Or maybe if you want to stick to musicals, you could go with Part of Your World from The Little Mermaid? People always think “Oh of course someone is singing this.” but everyone ends up having fun anyway. Either way, Godspeed!
